Round 4 FRCCC
Frome club played host to round 4 of the SICC on the 14th of July.
Incorporated in the event was the first round of the BRCA South West GT12 Regional Championship.
Frome presented everyone with a very well prepared and organised meeting. Unfortunately we did seem to lose a proportion of booked entries which was probably down to the weather .The extremely hot weather did cause some temperature problems for some and by the end of the day it was a little hot and sticky to say the least.

Touring Blinky
In the 17.5 class again it was 2 of the home club's members out in front with James setting the pace all day and poling the grid for the finals, which he takes great delight in pointing out to people that he is only running a t2 009.
Of the top four in the championship so far young Daniel was the only one showing his stuff at the top with Mike, Simon and Mathew struggling a bit with the carpet as they race mainly on tarmac.

GT12
This round of the Sicc also became the first round of the BRCA GT12 regional championship. So the 1s 13.5 drivers had to be split from the rest but then the results combined at the end of the day to still give drivers an overall SICC standing.
The GT12 class is proving to provide some close racing and be very popular.
