Round 3 SHMCC
SHMCC played host to round 3 of the SICC on the 23rd June.
The weather forecast had been every changing all week and what we would get on the day was like a lotto draw. For the drivers who took the chance we had a dry fairly warm day cloudy but no more that a few drops of rain.
A huge thanks needs to go to Dave and the rest of the club for the effort that had gone into preparing for the meeting, Fresh paint on the kurbs, Nice short grass and even a spectator monitor fitted for the day.

Touring Blinky
The 17.5 class was right from round 1 a battle between Craig and Mike from Shmcc. Yeovil RC's Simon Biles improving all day but not quite matching the 2 home boys pace. Craig put in a blinding run in round 3 to take FTD ahead of Mike. A Very happy Craig and his dad did comment how well young Adam had driven to allow Craig the clean run he needed.
In the finals craig was away on both legs to take the win with Mike putting in a clean run in both legs for 2nd , Simon managed to just hold his third spot after finishing 4th in leg one after a first lap incident left him fighting back from last place.
